Stuart Pearce's men put five past Iceland in Colchester.
England maintained their 100 per cent record in UEFA Euro 2013 qualifying with a comfortable 5-0 dimissal of Iceland in Colchester.
Marvin Sordell put England ahead on 39 minutes before Martin Kelly doubled the lead just before the hour mark following a surging run forward from defence.
It remained 2-0 until the closing stages, when centre-back Craig Dawson scored his fourth goal for the Under-21 in just his fifth appearance and substitute Gary Gardner sealed the win with a late double.
England now head to Belgium for another Group 8 qualifier on Monday.
